I have always been passionate about animals. I grew up in a small town in northern NY, but moved south to attend graduate school and received my Master's degree from College of Charleston. I volunteered at local rescues, but knew I wanted to be more involved. In the three years since moving to Asheville, I have worked with a few organizations all centered around animal care and vet medicine. I have three adorable rescued pups that I enjoy being cozy with lounging on my porch. I also enjoy taking my large pup hiking, and to coffee shops & breweries where she loves to greet people.
