Our Story
During the past 40 years, Asheville Veterinary Associates, located in Asheville, NC, has earned a reputation for providing state-of-the-art veterinary care by a service-oriented staff that meets and exceeds our veterinary clients' expectations every day. We understand how important it is to you that your pet receives the best veterinary care possible at a reasonable price.
50 Years
Asheville Veterinary Associates was originally founded in 1972 when Patton Avenue Animal Hospital and South Asheville Veterinary Hospital merged. The hospital on Patton Avenue moved to its current Asheville location on New Leicester Highway in 2005.
Our South Asheville office was originally located on Hendersonville Road and we moved to our present location in 2007.
