Dr. Sally Dry grew up in Nairobi, Kenya surrounded by wildlife. This is where her fascination and love of animals began. She received her Bachelor of Science at Virginia Tech in Wildlife Science. She then went onto St George’s University, West Indies for vet school and completed her clinical year at Louisiana State University. Soon after graduating from vet school, she returned home to Nairobi. While there she volunteered at a small animal clinic and a low cost/free spay and neuter mobile clinic serving stray dogs and cats. Her current interests include shelter medicine, dermatology, and surgery. She lives in Asheville, NC with her fiancé and Golden Retriever. In her spare time, she enjoys doing Cross-Fit, hiking, learning Swahili and Arabic, and is also an avid soccer fan.
