Dr. Allgeier received her veterinary medicine degree at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. Following graduation she spent six months in India volunteering as the sole veterinarian at a rural clinic, providing care to feral dogs and cats, village livestock, and street monkeys.

Dr. Allgeier has experience in emergency medicine, spay/neuter surgery, and general practice with a focus in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She takes an integrative approach to your pet’s health care and is certified in veterinary acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine from Chi University. She is passionate about geriatric and palliative care. 

When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Allgeier can be found honing her martial arts skills, particularly Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, spending time with her family, and being in nature. She lives with two cats and a Chihuahua mix."
