DR. Antonia Yu

Dr. Antonia Yu was born and raised with cats in California. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis. After working for a year as a veterinary assistant, she continued on to earn her veterinary degree from UC Davis in 2021.

She’s enjoyed working in general practice, and loves to improve our pets’ lives through dentistry. She is also passionate about shelter medicine, and spay/neuter is one of her favorite parts of being a vet. While she appreciates all her canine and feline patients, she especially loves cats (kittens, seniors, nice, spicy, regular, and all other varieties).

She moved to WNC and joined our team in 2024. Living here with a small farmyard of animals (cats, geckos, snakes, sheep, pigeons, peacocks, emus, and other various dinosaurs) has given Dr. Yu the opportunity to dabble in large animal and exotic medicine, which has been a great and challenging learning experience. Outside work, she enjoys gardening, foraging mushrooms, spinning wool, and crafting whatever else she can get her hands on.
