Dr. Green grew up in southeast Missouri, where her family entertained all types of pets and wildlife into the home. She had a huge love of reading, and her favorite topics were animals, science, and nature. Over time, her passion for animals and medicine led to her career goal of becoming a great veterinarian. Dr. Green attended the University of Missouri for all of her schooling. Dr. Green received her veterinary degree this past spring and she is extremely excited to join the wonderful team at Asheville Veterinary Associates. Some of her professional interests are surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, riding horses, reading, and painting. She has two dogs, a cat, and an aquarium.
